Aubrey’s Diary – Entry 4 (20 March 1983)

I think I’m gonna have to convince my parents to get on board with my dreams… and the only way I can do that is by showing them my world through my eyes. I need to show them that there’s no shame in modelling, that its a good occupation and I can make an honest living and, most importantly, make a name for myself. I think I’ll put together something like a dream/vision board with pictures of male models from big magazines so they’ll see it all through my eyes and see my vision for my life and my future. I need them to believe in me, their blessing means everything to me.
