Aubrey’s Diary – Entry 5 (22 March 1983)

After talking to my parents on thursday I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I showed them my vision board and they actually got to see my point of view… you should have seen me. I showed so much passion, I was alive. It felt a lot like a pitch where I had to convince investors or buyers to purchase my product. I believed in myself but I didn’t expect such a wonderful response from them. I’m really happy that they are willing to support me in my endeavours, coz like I said, their approval and blessings means everything to me. They did also say that I need to have another option as a back up plan, but we’ll deal with that another day, right now I’m just excited about my future 🙂
