Bonolo’s Material Culture Display

What I loved and appreciated most about your display and your objects is that it contained objects that are very common and can be found in many black homes. I could relate to most of the objects and they took me back for a moment. Some of them reminded me of either my grans house or one of my aunts’ house. At some point in my life we’ve used the paraffin lamp. My grandparents on my father’s side are leaders of an apostolic church, so when growing up they would light a white candle for prayer time. I love black and white wedding photographs, so I loved seeing your grandparents’ photo in the display. All in all, it was a great experience. Job well done Comrade!
